The Beach - Bude

The hotel was excellent. There are no negative points at all. The staff were excellent, The choice and quality at breakfast was first class. The room was as good as you will find at any 5 star hotel. We will have no hesitation in staying again when in Cornwall.

Immaculately clean and the staff was active and responsive. Huge and airy room, amazing bathroom with a walk-in shower. Incredible and brilliant food, very good service.

The things that I liked most about our stay at the Beach at Bude was the warm and friendly greeting on our arrival, the friendlyness and helpful staff, my holiday was one of the most relaxing that I have had for many years.The rooms were spacious and very comfortable.

Room was to hot at night and no vents.could not sleep.my wife had to slide the patio door open and lay on the floor! no shaver socket in bathroom.no plug near the mirror for hairdryer.

Recently refurbished hotel was in imaculate condition. The breakfast was good and freshly cooked. The location was perfect, overlooking the beach and sea. It is worth the extra to have a room with a balcony (especially if the weather is good). Friendly staff and helpful. Good restaurants within walking distance. All in all a very nice place to stay.

The fine ground floor room had French windows overlooking the beach, perfect for stormy sea views. Plus, the celeriac soup with Rarebit was 'to die for'!

The comfort of the rooms, the location - fantastic, and the staff were great.

Tasteful room (Premier with terrace, not standard as booked) with fabulous view and pristine bathroom. Fresh milk and a fridge in the room made a real difference as we were able to store picnic food (and wine and chocolate!). Helpful staff. Excellent location. We will be going back next year!

I just had an amazing stay in Bude! The food at the restaurant was fabulous, especially the scallops and the breakfast was lovely with a wide selection. Our room was fine and clean with a gorgeous view of the beach! I can't wait to go back!

We were very impressed with the locality and staff the rooms were a good size the only fault I thought was there wasn't ashower mat so you didn't slip but we were very pleased overall (more information on general places )

An excellent choice for our wedding anniversary weekend away. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was fabulous with views over the beach and headland from both the bedroom and the bath. Huge comfy bed, fresh milk and mineral water in the fridge and a good choice of freshly cooked breakfast. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed an amazing 500m swim in Summerleaze Bay followed by a scenic 11-mile cycle to Widemouth Bay.

In my wife's opinion, a play area for kids would be great.

The modern design was not short of comfort or light making it welcoming. Although we had a terrace with a wonderful view the communal terrace was available at all times and the view from the dining room/ communal lounge was a lovely way to start the day. We found the parking easy and convenient. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The only complaint we had was we couldn't stay longer.

Location of hotel was great, staff were polite and friendly, room was nice and large and well looked after. Breakfast was good.

We stayed for 5 nights and it would have been nice to have fresh towels atleast once during that time. More information on how stuff worked in the room would have been useful.
